This is the first in a series showing the Superscope Recorder I got from eBay. It was supposed to work OK. If you call no sound from the speaker, dead left channel on external speakers and headphones, the tape not running at all, working OK; I guess it did. This is the first set of photos showing showing the repairs. By the way while I have a tech background, I had never worked on a tape recorder before, so come and learn with me.

Second try, this time I just let the epoxy flow into the crack with no attempt to close it up

 

4 jumpers and some scotch tape completed the repair
